As we saw with the previous episode immunity from elimination is now off the table.

For the quickfire challenge in this episode, the seven remaining chefs baked cookies for Cookie Monster, Elmo, and Telly, from Sesame Street. Dale T. (pretzel & potato chip shortbread cookie with salted caramel chocolate ganache), the winner of the quickfire challenge, received $5,000 for his efforts.

This elimination challenge, where no one is safe, the chefs were tasked with created a meal at a Target store using only ingredients, cooking utensils and supplies they could find inside the store. The winning chef, Dale T., received $25,000.

With the $5,000 he received for winning the quickfire challenge, Dale T. (ribeye grilled cheese sandwich & spicy tomato soup) picked up $30,000. That’s just fabulous.

Unfortunately for Angelo (baked potato soup with bacon, onions, sour cream, potato skins, scallions & cheddar cheese), his dish was just bad on so many levels. Consequently, the chef was eliminated from the competition.
