Marvel’s Jessica Jones, created by Melissa Rosenberg, is scheduled to hit Netflix 8 March 2108.

With the first season having premiered on Netflix 20 Nov. 2015, it’s been a while. Despite this point, that was not the last time we saw the detective at work.

In 2017, we saw Jones team up with Matt Murdock / Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Danny Rand / Iron Fist (Finn Jones) in the min-series “Marvel’s The Defenders.”

Jones is right. Everyone has secrets. That is equally true of Jones as it is with other characters is the Marvel Cinematic Universe. What secrets is Kilgrave (David Tennant) hiding? Yes. He’s back.

Tennant as Kilgrave

In addition to Ritter and Tennant reprising their respective roles from the first season, other cast members returning for the second season include Rachael Taylor, Carrie-Anne Moss and Eka Darville.

Joining the cast is J.R. Ramirez and Leah Gibson. This is not the first time either Ramirez and Gibson have appeared in a comic book based production. Ramirez played Ted Grant in The CW’s “Arrow” and Gibson appeared in the 2009 Zack Snyder directed film “Watchmen.”

Janet McTeer, best known for her the 2012 James Watkins directed “The Woman in Black” and the  2016 Amber Tamblyn directed “Paint It Black,” has been cast in this second season; however, there is nothing indicating the identity of her character.

McTeer as Anne Protheroe.

If you are a fan of the British series “Agatha Christie’s Marple,” you might recall McTeer made an appearance in a 2004 episode.

In “The Murder at the Vicarage,” McTeer played Anne Protheroe. She played the character perfectly. Protheroe, after being found guilty of murder, was executed for her crime. Brilliant but sad ending.
